Jindal Steel & Power is an Indian industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in the steel, mining, and infrastructure sectors. They have a site to produce steel and a port in Oman. To sustain its growth and face its power needs, they want to increase the power capacity of their existing installation.
Challenge of the project
To face its fast-growing power needs, Jindal Steel & Power awards a contract to MasterGrid to extend its existing installation, supplying two additional GIS bays, type HB9m 220kV.
Our response
This is a main project for us, we specifically care about export projects. We supply components which are pre-assembled in our workshop located in Grenoble and ensure onsite supervision.
Regarding export projects, we capitalize on client teams, after a training session on our products.
We sourced the equipment and selected local BT suppliers (LCC & carpentry).
Today, both bays are delivered on site, within the contract timings.
